The objective of today’s working visit of Customs Director General Sugareski to Customs House Kumanovo was to get acquainted with the current and planned projects and the capacities of the Customs House Kumanovo.

Customs Director General, Mr. Sugareski and the Post AD Director, Mr. Jani Makraduli met to discuss how to strengthten the joint activities between the two institutions to improve the postal traffic which has an extremely important role in the overall customs operations, because in addition to sending postal letters, packages, which are customs goods are also sent.

Customs Director General Sugareski hosted today the French Ambassador H.E. Cyril Bomgartner, the French Customs Attaché in charge of Southeast Europe and the Balkans Mr. Julien Otre and the Attaché of the French Embassy security Stefan Roper. The mutual bilateral cooperation which has been successfully realized for a long time through seminars, study visits, trainings and donated technical equipment was confirmed at today’s meeting.

Representatives of the Customs Administration met today with members and the chairwoman of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, Ms. Biljana Ivanovska and confirmed the joint vision for a more effective system for prevention and suppression of corruption. Customs Director General Sugareski presented the regular and future activities of the customs organizational unit for professional standards, emphasizing the visible results so far and the identified future actions, in line with the Strategy of the Customs Administration for Integrity and Anti-Corruption for the period 2019-2022.

Representatives of the Customs Administration from the Sector for Control and Investigations and Customs Director General Sugareski, hosted today a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the activities and obligations arising from the establishment of a National Airport Interagency Group at the Skopje International Airport.
