The Director General of the Customs Administration Gjoko Tanoski, MSc, today (12th September 2017) had a working meeting with representatives of the Textile Cluster, led by Marijana Perkovska, President and Natasha Sivevska - Executive Director of the Textile Cluster. 

Acting upon the established irregularities, in August 2017 the Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia brought criminal charges for 4 cases, involving 5 natural and 2 legal entities.

During last two weeks, the customs officers foiled an attempt for trafficking marijuana and several attempts for smuggling different goods, seizing cash, a drone, a metal detector and used woodwork machines.

Today on 29th August 2017, at the Customs Administration’s Headquarters, the Director General of the Customs Administration Mr. Gjoko Tanasoski and Mr. George R. Clarke, Regional Advisor of the Export Control and Related Border Security Programme (EXBS) held a working meeting.


The customs inspectors of the Operational Matters Department, in coordinated action with inspectors from the Ministry of Interior, prevented an attempt for drug trafficking, seizing about 2,700 grams of marijuana.
