The Director General of the Customs Administration took part at the High-Level Seminar on long-term strategy for the implementation of Customs IT systems, that was held on 28 and 29 September 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia, organized under the Customs 2020 Cooperation Program of the EU.

Last two weeks, the customs officers foiled two cases of customs fraud and several attempts for smuggling various goods, seizing mobile phones, mobile phone accessories, apparel, glasses, cigarettes, watch examining machines, food supplements and furniture edging tape.

On 25th September 2017, the Director General of the Customs Administration, Gjoko Tanasoski,MSc. attended the meeting of the Board of the Macedonian- Turkish Chamber of Commerce (MATTO), to meet the members of the Board of Directors, and to get acquainted with the current trade related topics between the Republic Macedonia and the Republic of Turkey.

Today (26th September 2017), the Director General of the Customs Administration, Gjoko Tanasoski, MSc. had a working meeting with Mr. Jaromir Levicek, high representative of the Delegation of the European Union - Head of the Operations, Economics and Finance Department.

Under the Initial Mission of the World Bank Team working on preparation of a Project for Western Balkans Trade and Transport Facilitation Project, today (25th September 2017), the Director General of the Customs Administration Gjoko Tanasoski, MSc. had a meeting with high representatives of the World Bank team to discuss the possibilities for cooperation
