Continuing the good cooperation between the Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Korean Customs, today, a virtual meeting was held launching a project that will support the capacity building of the Customs Administration, particularly in the area of e-commerce and will contribute to the establishment on a balance between facilitated and faster delivery of shipments and greater collection of budget revenues from this type of trade.

Customs Director General Slavica Kutirov MSc, yesterday (9.11.2021) attended a meeting organized under the initiative "Open Balkans". The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Republic of North Macedonia in charge of European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuchic and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, and was attended by representatives of Chambers of Commerce, Finance, Economy and Agriculture Ministers, as well as representatives of National Food Safety Agencies and the Customs and Tax Administrations of the three countries.

Today (10th November  2021), a meeting was held in the premises of the Customs Administration between representatives of Makedonski Posti (Macedonian Post) and representatives of the Customs Administration. Customs Director General Slavica Kutirov MSc and the Director of Makedonski Poshti, Jani Makraduli, confirmed the good cooperation between the two institutions, which was assessed as necessary and in the interest of facilitating the flow of letters and other parcels and protecting the safety and health of the citizens of RNM.

Decision on early application of the amendment to Protocol 4 of the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia No. 245 of 02.11.2021.
