The members of the Advisory Council within the Customs Administration held a virtual video-conference meeting chaired by the Customs Director General, Slavica Kutirov, MSc. At today's meeting, the participants discussed materials related to several current issues in the area of customs operations and the requirements of the business community and exchanged views.

The new draft Law on Representation Activities in Customs Procedures, the WCO Time Release Study, as well as the results of the Study on Analysis of Duties on Non-tariff Barriers.

Attendees expressed particular satisfaction with the revision of the current Rules of Procedure of the Advisory Council, which will be formally adopted at the next meeting of the Advisory Council and will be aimed at improving mutual coordination in order to facilitate trade flow and avoid duplication of work.
