On the occasion of 14th April - the day when the Customs Administration marks 29 years of its existence as an independent state agency, the employees traditionally organized humanitarian aid.

This year, the customs officers dedicated the humanitarian aid to the "Parents' House", where parents whose children are patients and receiving therapy at the Oncology Department of the University Clinic for Children's Diseases, not from Skopje and have no place to stay. This house is a support and safe temporary place to stay for parents and children treated for cancer and the stay is completely free. The Parents' House and the parents accommodated in it are taken care of by the NGO SANO, founded by parents and friends of children who have beaten cancer who work exclusively on a voluntary basis to facilitate the process of treating children with cancer, but also their parents.

Hoping that this will at least slightly facilitate the stay of the parents in this house with the donation, the customs officers provided furniture, air conditioners, lining, several kitchen appliances and toys.

With this gesture, the employees of the Customs Administration give their support to all children who are facing illness and tell them to stay strong and wish them fast recovery.
