The National Office of the International Chamber of Commerce from Skopje in cooperation with the Customs Administration organized today a video-conference workshop on "Implementation of best international practices in tackling corruption."

Within 5 – 9 July 2021, the Customs Administration supported by the German Corporation for International Cooperation GmbH (GIZ) is organizing a video conference training on Authorized Economic Operators Risk Management.

The 11th Meeting of the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Joint Committee of all countries members of the PEM Convention was held on 1st July 2021. The Joint Committee of the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Convention (PEM) Preferential Rules of Origin is held twice a year and this committee makes decisions related to the rules of origin within the Convention.

Customs Deputy Director General, Mr. Muarem Asani, Mr. Ilija Janoski and Mr. Zlatko Veterovski, took part in the 6th informal meeting of Directors General and senior officials of the Customs Administrations of the Western Balkans, which took place in Tirana, Albania. This initiative is supported by the UK Government and HM Revenue and Customs.

Senior officials of the Customs Administration took part at the 138th Customs Cooperation Council Session of the World Customs Organisation (WCO). The WCO is a globally recognized international center of customs expertise and has a leading role in development, promotion and implementation of modern customs systems and procedures. The meeting was held via video conference from June 24-26, 2021.
