On the occasion of the 14th April – the Macedonian Customs Day, we are organizing several events to mark 26 years of independent Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia.

5th April 2018 (Thursday): 

A Campaign "Stop Counterfeits" will be launched at the City Mall. At the main entrance of the mall, there will be an exhibition stand with seized counterfeits, customs officers will inform the citizens and give them booklets about the activities of the Customs Administration in the fight counterfeiting and piracy and how to recognize counterfeits.

10th April 2018 (Tuesday): 

Start of the campaign “Report Corruption”. The campaign is aimed at eradicating corruption in Customs and encourage individuals to report any form of corruption. At multiple border crossings, through brochures and conversation with customs officials people will receive more information on where and how to report corruption.

The campaign "Don’t Be a Mule" will be conducted in the period 10th – 13th April in several highschools in Skopje, Kumanovo, Tetovo, Debar, Bitola, Prilep, Ohrid, Struga, Delcevo and Shtip. Expertteams of customs officers will inform the students about the harmful consequences of drug trafficking.

11th April 2018 (Wednesday): 

The traditional Customs Day ceremony will take place at the Museum of Contemporary Art, at 12 o'clock, where the results of the Customs Administration in 2017 and its future goals will be briefly presented. Finance Minister Dragan Tevdovski, PhD will address the present. Special emphasis will be given to the process of digitalization of Customs - "Customs Before and Customs Today". Part of the Customs Day will be focused on "Everyday Heroes" - several customs officers will talk about situations and events they face in their daily work.

13th April 2018 (Friday): 

Blood Donation Action

On the occasion of the 14th April – Macedonian Customs Day, a blood donation action is traditionally organized under the motto "Your blood saves lives" on the entire territory  of the country.

The action will take place at the premises of the Customs Administration, starting at 9.00 am (Aquarium Hall). Interested customs officers can give blood in any of the Blood Transfusion Centers in the country.
