Phytosanitary Control

The import of plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables into the customs territory of the Republic of Macedonia is subject to an authorization issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy - Phytosanitary Agency.

Pursuant the Law on plant protection products, the Phytosanitary Agency issues authorization for import of plant protection products, confirming that these products are healthy and free from diseases. In addition, these products must be inspected by phytosanitary inspector.
