Today at the border crossing Tabanovce, Vice President in charge of fight against corruption and crime, sustainable development and human resources, Ljupco Nikolovski held a working meeting with Goran Sugareski, Director General of the Customs Administration and Ms. Virginia Abajo-Marquez, Head of UNDOC Project Office & Regional Anti-corruption and Asset Recovery Advisor for the Western Balkans in Belgrade.

On 23rd March  2021, the Investigation Department of the Customs Administration filed criminal charges to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Kumanovo against a legal entity based in Kriva Palanka suspected of committing "Excise Duty Evasion" punishable under Article 279-b of the Criminal Code. 

During today's visit to the Customs Administration, the regional customs attachés of the Republic of France, Mr. Christophe Bergeon and Mr. Julien Autret, confirmed the interest for bilateral cooperation. They discussed the areas in which there is a need for joint activities in future with the heads of the Departments for International Cooperation and Control and Investigations of the Customs Administration.

Today, Customs Director General, Mr. Sugareski visited the border crossing point Blace, where he had the opportunity to meet with the Heads of the Customs House Skopje and customs office Blace and customs officers of the Customs Office Blace.
