Delegation of the Customs Administration led by Director General Mr. Gjoko Tanasoski took part in the activities of the 131st Session of the Customs Co-operation Council of the World Customs Organization, held on 14th and 15th December 2017 in Brussels-Belgium.

Acting upon the established irregularities, in the period September-November 2017 the Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia brought criminal charges for 6 cases, involving 6 natural and 2 legal entities.

Three-member delegation of the Customs Administration, led by Director General Gjoko Tanasosoki participated at the 30th Meeting of the EU-EFTA Joint Committee on Common Transit and simplification of formalities in trade of goods, held today (5th December 2017) in Oslo, Norway.

Within November 30 – 1 December 2017, the Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia, supported by the USAID and the World Bank / IFC organized an informal regional meeting of the Directors General of Customs Administrations of the Western Balkans in Skopje.

During the past two weeks, the customs officers detected several attempts for smuggling of various goods, seizing household cleaning products, personal care products, dietary supplements, footwear and counterfeits.
