They discussed the areas in which there is a need for joint activities in future with the heads of the Departments for International Cooperation and Control and Investigations of the Customs Administration.

The colleagues from France got acquainted with the organization of our Customs administration and our priority needs for technical assistance and support in vocational training, particularly for the purpose of introducing new modern methods of conducting control and detection of illegal operations.

The representatives of the Customs Administration expressed satisfaction with the technical and expert assistance the Republic of France and the French Customs Service have been providing for a long time. The importance of joint engagement of the two services was emphasized at the meeting, in order to achieve greater success in carrying out the mission of the Customs Administration.
